The article marketed the piece as: "The World's Most Expensive Book Up For Sale," and it's one of Audubon's.

  1. Oh yes, absolutely. This is a very exciting event for Audubon aficionados. Note that the Lilly has the complete set of Birds of America, in a case specially made for it (the volumes weigh 200 pounds), in a corner of the Lincoln Room (where the Gutenberg is usually displayed). Only a few sets are left in private hands.
